Bedford Site Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern use of Bedford County Busted Mugshots. By accessing the service, a visitor agrees to these terms. Anyone who does not agree should not use the service.

Bedford County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not connected to Bedford County, Tennessee, its sheriff, jail, courts, corrections agencies, or any other government body. Neither this service nor its advertising or search partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Service description

This is a private reference service that points visitors toward public agency contacts, official locator tools, and independent search partners. It does not store official jail, booking, court, or correctional records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, file a document, or speak for an agency. Tennessee Public Records Act practices are controlled by the responsible custodian and applicable law, not by this service.

Permitted use

Visitors must use the service lawfully and responsibly. They may not use it to stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate another person, gain unauthorized access to a system, interfere with other users, or operate automated harvesting tools without authorization. The service may not be used to make a credit, insurance, employment, housing, licensing, permit, government-benefit, or other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

No consumer reports

This service does not prepare consumer reports, background reports, or credit reports, and its partners do not offer such services through this site. By using the service, a visitor agrees not to treat its material as a consumer report or use it for any FCRA-regulated purpose.

Third-party links

Links may lead to Bedford County agencies, Tennessee resources, federal locators, news outlets, and independent search tools. Those destinations are not owned or controlled by this service. Their terms, privacy practices, record availability, and uptime are their own responsibility, and a link does not imply endorsement.

Disclaimers of warranty

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No promise is made that material is complete, current, accurate, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular use. Custody and court information can change quickly, and official records remain the controlling source.

Liability limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and its partners are not liable for losses or damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this service or an external destination.

Indemnity

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator and its partners from claims, damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that visitor’s misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, the service’s original text, graphics, logo treatment, and code are owned by Bedford County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission, except as applicable law allows.

Changes and access

These terms may change at any time, with updated terms effective when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, when permitted by law.

Tennessee law and severability

These terms are governed by Tennessee law, and disputes must be brought in courts within Tennessee when a court has jurisdiction. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective and the affected provision is adjusted only as much as necessary.
